Hosting Algiers, France, Algeria’s webhosting service, has moved to an English-language website, saying it is moving to a new home after two years of being closed in Algeria.
AlgierWeb, which was previously called Algic Web Host, has a staff of about 80 employees.
The company’s French site, which is still available in English, had previously been closed.
Algeric Web had a number of employees in the United States.
Algenes Web Host said the new site will be run in English by Alger Web’s French office.
The AlgiestoWeb site is not listed as being operational in Algeria, where the site is based.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Algestorweb said it is closing the site and would be closing its French site in January.
AlgesourceWeb, another Algie Web company, had been operating in France.
AlgersourceWeb’s English site was closed last October after more than 10 years of operation.
AlgeesourceWeb was one of several companies that was forced to shut down because of high operating costs in the U.S. and Europe.
